My family loves to go to the kite festival in a neighboring city.
It's an old fashioned activity that everyone can do, and it's outside.
Twice a year we go to the park where hundreds of people are flying their kites. We invite family and friends; bring food, drinks, chairs, tents.... And make a day of it.
Even if there's not an organized "kite festival" on your town, make your own.
